Joseph G. Tian is a songwriter, composer, worship artist, and music producer devoted to creating music that shares the hope of the gospel and points people to Jesus Christ.
Before dedicating his music to Christian ministry, Joseph spent more than fifteen years working professionally as a composer for film and television in China. His work included music for feature films, television productions, documentaries, animation, musicals, and commercial projects. Through these years, he developed a deep understanding of how music can communicate emotion, tell stories, and reach people beyond words.
In 2018, after moving to the United States, Joseph experienced a significant change in both his life and his creative direction. Responding to God's calling, he began using his musical gifts to serve the gospel. What had once been primarily a professional career gradually became a ministry—writing songs rooted in faith, worship, and the message of Jesus Christ.
Since then, Joseph has written, arranged, produced, and performed original Christian music in both Chinese and English. In 2019, he released The Hymns Collection by Joseph Tian, a collection of original Chinese worship music, accompanied by a series of music videos. He has also served through worship, concerts, and Christian music ministry, seeking to use music not simply as performance, but as a way to encourage faith and share the gospel.
In 2026, Joseph began a new chapter by releasing original English worship music, beginning with “With Your Name.” Through these songs, he hopes to reach listeners across cultures and languages—encouraging believers, bringing hope to those who are searching, and inviting people to encounter the love and grace of God.
At the heart of Joseph's music is a simple prayer: that every melody, every lyric, and every performance would ultimately glorify God and draw people closer to Him.
